Introducing Omeganodes: deploy at the speed of Africa

Omeganodes is a push-to-deploy cloud platform (PaaS) built for East African founders and developers: you connect a Git repository, push, and your app runs on an HTTPS address, paid for by card, PayPal or mobile money.

Shipping software in East Africa has meant paying in a currency you don't earn, with a card many developers don't have, to run your app on another continent. We built Omeganodes to change that.

Push to deploy, no YAML

Connect a GitHub repository, push to your branch, and Omeganodes detects your language, builds your app and serves it on an HTTPS URL. A first deploy usually takes one to three minutes, and later ones are faster because the build is cached. There is no Kubernetes to learn and no pipeline to configure.

Node.js, Python, Go, PHP, Ruby and anything else that runs in a container are supported. If your repository has a Dockerfile, we build from it; if not, the build pack picks the runtime for you. The build log shows every step live, so a failing build tells you exactly what went wrong.

Built for how Africa pays

You can start on the free plan with no credit card. When you grow, pay with MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money (confirmed by our team), or instantly by card or PayPal.

Mobile money works like this: you send the payment with the instructions shown at checkout, reply with the transaction reference, and our team activates your plan, usually within one working day. Card and PayPal payments activate the plan at once. Every payment comes with an invoice, and you can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

What you get on day one

Every account, the free one included, gets the same platform:

• Push-to-deploy from GitHub, with unlimited deployments and a free address on omeganodes.com.
• Automatic HTTPS on every app, and your own domain with a certificate issued for you on the paid plans.
• Managed PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and MongoDB next to your app, with the connection string injected as DATABASE_URL.
• One-click apps from the catalog, for when you want a CMS or a shop without writing code.
• Hardened containers: memory caps, process limits, the no-new-privileges flag and seccomp profiles on every app.

Where your app runs

Apps run on dedicated servers in Falkenstein, Germany, operated by Hetzner, under EU data-protection law. We do not have an East African region today; any new region will appear in the region picker and on our trust center first.

Our Data Processing Agreement and the list of sub-processors are public, and so is the status page, which shows worker-node health and every published incident.

Who Omeganodes is not for

Omeganodes runs web apps, APIs, workers and databases in containers. It is not the right fit if you need GPUs, want to run your own Kubernetes cluster, need your servers in a country other than Germany, or need a provider with a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report today. We would rather say so here than after you have moved.

What has shipped since launch

Updated 26 October 2026. Everything below is live for customers today, oldest first; the changelog has the full list.

• 26 August 2026: Private repositories. Connect GitHub with OAuth or a personal access token and deploy private repositories through deploy keys.
• 27 August 2026: Sign in with Google, deploy from the CLI. Create your account with Google, and run omeganodes deploy from your project folder.
• 27 August 2026: Trust center. Encryption, GDPR, NIS2, our sub-processors, and what we do not attest yet (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• 27 August 2026: Preview environments. Open a GitHub pull request or a GitLab merge request and get a temporary URL to check the change.
• 27 August 2026: Database backups and restore. Back up a managed database on demand and restore it yourself, on the plans that include backups.
• 27 August 2026: Public status page. Worker-node health and every published incident, open to anyone.
• 23 September 2026: Deploy without Git. No repository? Upload a zip of your project (up to 20 MB) or write the code in the in-browser editor.
• 26 September 2026: A larger Marketplace. Ready-made apps, shops and CMS in one click, each with its RAM and disk minimums shown before you deploy.
• 26 September 2026: Add-ons on top of a plan. Raise one limit, RAM, team seats or the number of projects, without changing plan.
• 8 October 2026: Omeganodes in Italian. The site, the dashboard and the legal texts are now in Italian too.
• 8 October 2026: Regional prices. One price for Europe and the advanced economies, and lower prices for Africa, Latin America and most of Asia: Starter €3, Pro €8 and Business €18 a month.
• 25 October 2026: Push notifications. Deploy failures, payment confirmations and support replies on your phone or computer, even when Omeganodes is closed.
• 25 October 2026: Notification center. Everything that happens on your account in one list, with filters, and you choose what reaches your devices.
• 26 October 2026: Zip and editor redeploys fixed. Uploading a new zip, or saving again in the in-browser editor, now redeploys the same project every time. Before, the second upload of a project could fail.
• 26 October 2026: Omega AI for shops and sites. An AI assistant inside the WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, OpenMage, Joomla and Drupal back office: ask in plain words, review every proposed change, then apply it or undo it. Free connectors, prepaid credits.
