Questions people ask

Is Omeganodes cheaper than Ziploy?
It depends on what your app uses. On Omeganodes you pay the plan price and CPU, RAM and running hours are never metered: Pro is €12 a month (€8 in Africa, Latin America and most of Asia) however busy the app is. On Ziploy you pay the plan floor or your metered usage, whichever is higher, plus 7.5% VAT; its own calculator puts one always-on app at ₦15,660 a month before VAT.
Can I pay Omeganodes without an international card?
Yes. You can pay with MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money, which our team confirms by hand, usually within one working day, or by card (via Stripe) or PayPal. The Free plan needs no payment method at all.
Where is my data stored on each platform?
Omeganodes runs every app on servers in Falkenstein, Germany, under EU GDPR, with a public Data Processing Agreement. Ziploy lists data centres in Lagos, Kano and Accra and agrees data-residency commitments separately on its Enterprise plan.
Can I move from Ziploy to Omeganodes?
Yes. Both deploy from a GitHub repository, so you connect the same repository to Omeganodes, set your environment variables and push. Your app gets an HTTPS address straight away; point your own domain at it when you are ready.
