Omega AI: an AI assistant inside WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Joomla and Drupal

Omega AI is an AI assistant inside the back office of WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, OpenMage, Joomla and Drupal sites: you ask for a change in plain words, review every item it proposes, then apply it or undo it.

Most shop owners know exactly what they want to change: a price, a sale for the weekend, better descriptions for a handful of products. What takes the time is clicking through the back office to do it. Omega AI lets you ask for it in plain words, inside the back office you already use.

Ask, review, apply

Write "put the summer collection 20% off until Sunday" and the assistant reads your catalog and proposes a change set: every item, what it is now and what it becomes, and the fee to apply it. Nothing changes until you confirm. Big price moves and large changes ask for a second confirmation, and everything you apply can be undone from the same screen.

On Joomla and Drupal sites the assistant works on articles and sections: it writes, rewrites, translates into a language the site already has, fixes titles and meta descriptions, and moves articles between sections.

A worked example: a weekend sale

Say your summer collection has twelve products and you want them 20% off from Friday to Sunday. You pick an AI model, which shows about what one step costs, and send the request. The assistant finds the twelve products, and the change set lists each one with its current price and its sale price, with the start and end dates.

On WooCommerce the discount becomes a sale price with those dates, saved with or without tax the way your shop enters prices; on Magento it becomes a special price with the same dates. You check the list and see the fee for the twelve items before you confirm. On Monday the sale ends by its end date, and if something looks wrong before then, Undo puts the previous prices back.

Built not to surprise you

The assistant has no delete: it can switch a product off, never remove it. Your shop applies each change with its own code, so stock, prices and other modules stay consistent. The connectors never read your customers or your orders.

By default Omega AI only uses models whose providers keep no copy of your requests and do not train on them. Other models are offered only if you choose them, after a clear warning. Chats are encrypted and deleted after 90 days.

What it does on each platform

Each connector follows its platform's own rules. The first notes from each platform page:

• WooCommerce: Prices are saved the way your shop enters them, with or without tax, following WooCommerce's tax setting. Discounts become a sale price, with optional start and end dates. Requires WordPress 6.5+, WooCommerce 8+, PHP 7.4+.
• PrestaShop: It changes prices with or without tax, names, descriptions, meta texts, reference, weight and stock. It creates products (inactive at first) and categories, adds products to categories and creates discounts. Requires PrestaShop 1.7.8, 8 or 9.
• Magento 2 / Mage-OS: Installing needs shell access to the server, as for any Magento module. Configurable, bundle and grouped products: the assistant changes the prices of the products they are made of. Requires Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6+, Mage-OS.
• OpenMage: Prices follow System > Configuration > Tax > Calculation Settings > Catalog Prices. Roles need Catalog > Omega AI assistant to chat and Apply Omega AI changes to the catalog to apply. Requires OpenMage LTS 20.x, PHP 7.4+.
• Joomla: Changes go through Joomla's own article logic: content plugins run, and with Versions on each change is kept in the article's history. New articles are created unpublished unless you ask otherwise; undo unpublishes them, it never deletes. Requires Joomla 4.4, 5 or 6, PHP 8.1+.
• Drupal: Every change is saved as a new revision whose log names the Omega AI change set. New articles are created unpublished unless you ask otherwise; undo unpublishes them, it never deletes. Requires Drupal 10.3+ or 11, PHP 8.1+ with sodium.

Where it works

The connectors are free to download and install on the site you already have, wherever it is hosted: your site does not need to move to Omeganodes. Each platform page lists the requirements and the installation steps.

Start in four steps

Installing takes about as long as any other plugin or module:

• Create a free Omega Nodes account and open Omega AI.
• Connect your site: choose the platform and enter its address.
• Download the connector for your platform and install it like any other module or plugin.
• Paste the site key in the connector's settings and start asking.

What it does not do yet

On WooCommerce it does not change the prices of products with variations: those prices live on each variation, so change them from the product's Variations tab. On Magento, installing the module needs shell access to the server. The Shopify app is not available yet.

What it costs

Omega AI is prepaid, with no subscription: 1 credit is €0.01 excl. VAT. Each model shows about what a step costs before you send, and applying changes costs a small fee per item changed, shown before you confirm. New accounts can try it with free welcome credits after verifying their email.
