Omega AI for OpenMage

Omega AI for OpenMage is a free module that adds an AI assistant to the admin of Magento 1 shops on OpenMage LTS: you ask for catalog changes in plain words, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

A separate module for Magento 1 shops running OpenMage LTS. The assistant appears under Catalog > Omega AI and works like the Magento 2 one.

Install it

  1. In Omega Nodes open Omega AI > Connected sites, click Connect a site, choose Magento 2 / Mage-OS / OpenMage and enter your site's https address.
  2. Create a site key with the default permissions (chat with AI models, assistant, upload and generate product images) and copy it.
  3. Download the OpenMage module and unzip it in the OpenMage root (it only adds files under app/, js/ and skin/). Flush the Magento cache in System > Cache Management, then sign out and in again.
  4. Open System > Configuration > Catalog > Omega AI, paste the key and click Save Config.

How it works on OpenMage

  • Prices follow System > Configuration > Tax > Calculation Settings > Catalog Prices.
  • Roles need Catalog > Omega AI assistant to chat and Apply Omega AI changes to the catalog to apply.
  • Products are never deleted: undo disables a product the assistant created.

You stay in control

  • Nothing changes until you confirm. You see every change before it is applied: the item, what it is now and what it becomes.
  • Big price moves and large changes ask for a second confirmation.
  • Every applied change can be undone from the same screen.
  • There is no delete: the assistant can switch a product off, never remove it.
  • Your shop applies the changes with its own code, so stock, prices and other modules stay consistent.
  • The connectors never read your customers or your orders.

Omega AI is prepaid: 1 credit = €0.01 excl. VAT, no subscription. Each model shows about what one step costs before you send. Applying changes costs a small fee per item changed, shown before you confirm.

Questions about OpenMage

Can it change my site without asking?
No. You see every proposed change with its fee and apply it yourself; large changes need a second confirmation, and Undo restores the previous values.
Is it the same module as Magento 2?
No, it is a separate download made for OpenMage LTS 20.x; you connect the site in Omega Nodes with the same platform choice.
