Omega AI for Joomla
Omega AI for Joomla is a free component that adds an AI assistant to the Joomla administrator: you ask for articles and changes in plain words, and nothing is saved until you confirm.
The component adds an assistant under Components > Omega AI > Assistant. Ask it to write, rewrite or translate articles, fix titles and meta descriptions, or move articles between categories.

Start for freeInstall it
- In Omega Nodes open Omega AI > Connected sites, click Connect a site, choose Joomla and enter your site's https address.
- Create a site key with the permissions to chat with AI models and use the assistant, and copy it.
- Download the Joomla component. In Joomla open System > Install > Extensions, choose Upload Package File and drop the zip.
- Open Components > Omega AI > Settings, paste the key in Site key and click Save and test.
How it works on Joomla
- Changes go through Joomla's own article logic: content plugins run, and with Versions on each change is kept in the article's history.
- New articles are created unpublished unless you ask otherwise; undo unpublishes them, it never deletes.
- With Workflows on, the assistant does not publish or unpublish: you change the stage in Joomla.
- Scripts, styles and event attributes are removed from texts, whatever your text filters allow.
You stay in control
- Nothing changes until you confirm. You see every change before it is applied: the item, what it is now and what it becomes.
- Big price moves and large changes ask for a second confirmation.
- Every applied change can be undone from the same screen.
- There is no delete: the assistant can switch a product off, never remove it.
- Your shop applies the changes with its own code, so stock, prices and other modules stay consistent.
- The connectors never read your customers or your orders.
Omega AI is prepaid: 1 credit = €0.01 excl. VAT, no subscription. Each model shows about what one step costs before you send. Applying changes costs a small fee per item changed, shown before you confirm.
Questions about Joomla
- Can it change my site without asking?
- No. You see every proposed change with its fee and apply it yourself; large changes need a second confirmation, and Undo restores the previous values.
- Does it keep the article history?
- Yes. When Versions are on in Joomla, every change the assistant applies is kept in the article's version history.
